The Singleton Business Chamber, in partnership with Singleton Council, is preparing to launch the ‘Spend in Singleton’ Gift Cards as part of the Why Leave Town shop local initiative.

The Why Leave Town program, which was originally launched in Narrabri and now comprises 20 towns in NSW and QLD, works as a gift card system that ensure local dollars remain local and creates a community owned program.

The ‘Spend in Singleton’ Gift Cards can be purchased from one of several ‘load-up’  stores/outlets and can be redeemed on purchases at any business participating with in the program.

The ‘Spend in Singleton’ Gift Cards can be loaded with funds from as little as $10 up to $1000, and will only be loaded once (no top ups) but can be used multiple times or spent all at once at the participating local businesses. All gift cards expire after three years. Purchasers can check card balances online or by phone, and registered cards can be replaced if lost.
